The Galvin Green garments are to be worn by Team Europe this September at Le Golf National, with the range including Gore-Tex Full-Zip Jacket with C-KNIT technology, Gore-Tex Short-Sleeve Jacket with C-KNIT technology, Half-Zip Insula, Full-Zip Insula, Interface Jacket and Gore-Tex Trousers with C-KNIT technology.
These two jackets use advanced fabric materials with cutting-edge design, making the official weatherwear of The 2018 Ryder Cup one of the best products on the market. The C-KNIT backer incorporates a Gore-Tex Super Stretch fabric on the shoulders and elbows to provide four times more stretch than previous versions.
The Albatross and Forward garments, named after the Championship course and the first hole at Le Golf National, also feature a smooth “slide and glide” inner material of the exclusive C-KNIT fabric.
Adopting an uncompromising construction using a high-performance multi-layer concept, the Full-Zip and Half-Zip Insula are both stylish and high performing garments. The Full-Zip jacket is nicknamed “The Crowd,” after the 18th hole, and the Half-Zip is named “The Verdict,” after the 17th hole.
This will be the Interface Jacket’s first appearance at The Ryder Cup and is made from 100% polyester stretch fabric with a PU breathable membrane and water-repellent finish, making it totally windproof and highly breathable. It is named “Up Wind,” after the par 5 ninth hole.
Named “The Judges,” after the 15th hole at Le Golf National, the Gore-Tex Trousers with C-KNIT use advanced fabric materials with cutting-edge to design to create a garment that appeals to every serious golfer. Water-repellent zippers, a stretch panel and elasticated waist all make for a comfortable waterproof, with the addition of the Ryder Cup logo on the left knee making for a unique trouser.
